I wanted to make a cutesy beat out of a Cardigans song, having heard Lovefool in the car. Then I realized they also covered Iron Man, which I also heard in the car the same day, and chose that to flip into a beat. Because the original track was 4 minutes and 20 seconds, I kept this aspect and it was a very good idea, requiring me to flesh out a whole track for once. I listened to it on repeat while watching Tetsuo: the Iron Man for the first time and singing about how it made me feel along the way. Then I wrote the lyrics based on those feelings, and built out the rest of the track!
